BulkVerify is free so that everyone can keep their email lists clean. To keep it that way, all users must follow this Acceptable Use Policy. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Permitted use
You may use BulkVerify to check email lists that you collected lawfully — for example newsletter subscribers, customers or contacts who gave you their address — in order to improve deliverability and data quality.
2. Prohibited use
You may not use BulkVerify to:
- verify lists that were bought, rented, scraped from websites, harvested or otherwise obtained unlawfully;
- prepare, support or send spam, phishing, malware or other unsolicited or deceptive messages;
- process data in violation of anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM, CASL or the ePrivacy rules) or data protection laws (such as the GDPR);
- harass, stalk, dox or harm any person;
- upload anything other than email lists, such as malware, scripts or illegal content;
- create multiple accounts, share accounts or use automation to get around daily limits or rate limits;
- probe, scan, overload or attack the Service, or try to access other users’ data or our private storage;
- resell the Service or its results as your own verification service without our written permission.
3. Fair use
Daily limits, upload limits and rate limits exist to keep the Service available for everyone. Please don’t try to work around them.
4. Enforcement
We monitor for abuse using automated checks. If we reasonably believe this policy has been violated, we may cancel jobs, remove files, suspend or close accounts and, where appropriate, report illegal activity to the competent authorities.
