This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies BulkVerify uses. We keep this list short on purpose: we do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. “Local storage” is a similar browser feature that lets a website remember small pieces of information.
2. Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
bulkverify-session | Keeps you signed in and remembers your session. Strictly necessary. | 2 hours of inactivity |
XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Strictly necessary. | 2 hours |
remember_web_* | Keeps you signed in if you tick “Remember me”. Strictly necessary for that feature. | Up to 400 days |
bv_locale | Remembers the language you chose so the website is shown in that language. | Up to 400 days |
Cloudflare, which protects our website, may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example __cf_bm) to tell humans and bots apart, and the Turnstile check on our forms may store technical data needed for the check.
3. Local storage for statistics
Our own statistics service (Megbil Stats) does not use cookies. It stores a random visitor identifier and a session identifier in your browser’s local storage so we can count visits without identifying you, and sends the visited page and the referring page to our statistics server. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in or submit forms.
